Krumbach (Schwaben)
-
Krumbach is a town by the waterside! No, not a raging torrent, the town centre of Krumbach is enframed by two rivers with a wide variety of recreational offerings, “Krumbächlein” and “Kammel”. The “Krumbächlein” brings nature right into the town centre and invites to try some water treading. The surroundings of the river “Kammel” are ideal to enjoy cycling tours all the way to Günzburg and the Danube or to Mindelheim in the South. Apart from the “Badstein”, a special local healing stone, water also plays an important role in the “Krumbad”, a state-approved health spa with a long tradition where our guests can choose from a variety of wellness- and health treatments. Right in the heart of the town all of the five pillars of Kneipp’s teachings can be experienced on a family-friendly circular walking route. Both grown-ups and children enjoy the water-treading pool and the barefoot path which were created along the “Krumbächlein”. A wide range of sports activities for the young and young-at-heart invite to spend active and exciting holidays in Central Swabia. To those with an interest in culture the Central-Swabian Museum of Local History always offers attractive exhibitions.
